What does the change over involve?

Change is GoodFinding out just how much we can save you... the initial meeting
Our initial meeting is simply a fact-finding mission and enables us to calculate just how much money we can save you! For this very reason, I’ll ask to see recent itemised telephone bills from your current provider.

First of all I will conduct an in-depth survey of your current telecoms systems. This simply consists of checking exactly how many telephone numbers you have and how many lines on each number. This is in order to ensure that no lines are missed so that the discounted rates will apply to ALL your lines.

We will also need to know what extra BT services you are currently receiving and which services you would like to keep. e.g. call diversion, call waiting, caller display. One of the most and surprising issues we find when undertaking this detailed process is we discover some of our customers are being charged for a service they’re neither using nor actually need. Therefore we can ensure you only have the services that YOU want.

The only changes you’ll see will be the reduction in size of your monthly phone bill. Oh yes, and the ease in which you’ll be able to get hold of your Uniworld Account Manager.

A proposal that’s really tuned to satisfying your needs
It’s because our prices and proposals aren’t just conjured up out of thin air that we take the information away, so we can really get to grips with your requirements. Based on your responses from the meeting your proposal will set out the specific areas we will address.

The bills you receive from your current provider are actually a goldmine of information, allowing us to prepare a detailed proposal setting out just how your service and experience will be dramatically improved when you sign up with us... not to mention the saving in time and costs you’ll get.

So just what will your proposal give you?

  • An easy to read price comparison that lists our rates alongside those you’re being charged at the moment, just so you can see at a glance the savings you can make
  • A detailed breakdown of how much you’re going to save cost saving comparison based on the itemised bills you gave. This sets out very specifically just how much you’ll be saving every quarter on every different type of call made from your office... be it a mobile or national call

After you’ve received the proposal, we’ll meet up and go over your proposal, answering any questions you have or giving you further information if required.

It’s at this point most people say yes as they can see how much they’re going to save but also recognising the value they’ll receive from the increased support levels.

It only takes 14 - 21 days from start to finish before you’re saving yourself a fortune!
Once you’ve agreed to go ahead the first thing that is needed is for you to sign an agreement. Don’t panic, it doesn’t tie you in for a fixed period but what it does, and this is uncommon in our industry, is to commit us, Uniworld, to providing you with the rates and service you were shown in the Proposal so absolutely no commitment on your behalf at all.

The actual transfer is a very simple procedure and takes up to 21 days. Being a paperwork transaction between British Telecom and our selves. We’ll instruct BT to programme their exchanges to route all your calls over our network... ensuring ALL your calls are captured by our network.

"How smooth... this smooth"
The MD of one of our customers called us recently approx 2 weeks after having given us the go-ahead, enquiring when the changeover was going to take place as he hadn’t noticed anything happening on his telephone lines. We were able to inform him that it had all gone through already and that his company had already started saving a fortune. The changeover was that smooth and invisible. His main contact had of course been notified of the changeover but he was unaware of it.
